Everyone can join in! Ways to more inclusion - good practice exchange
How can we make our teams and activities more diverse and inclusive? What does it take to make as many people as possible feel invited - and to break down barriers to participation?
We would like to explore these questions together with you: At the networking meeting for committed people "4netzen" on Monday, May 4, 7-9 p.m. in the Haus des Engagements, we will create space for exchange and new impulses.
The focus will be on the question of how we can create access and how inclusion can succeed in practice. Together, we want to share experiences, identify challenges and develop concrete ideas:
How do we reach people who have hardly been reached so far? What barriers exist - visible and invisible?
How can we create structures, communication and safe spaces that enable genuine participation?
As an inspiring introduction, Theresa Wießmann, co-founder of beneFit e.V., will give a keynote speech. She will provide an insight into the work of beneFit e.V. and explain how the association makes its services as accessible and barrier-free as possible. beneFit e.V. sees inclusion as a comprehensive concept that includes all people in all their diversity.
Afterwards, we invite you to get into conversation with each other, to apply ideas from the presentation to your own practice, to learn from each other and to network.
Who is it for?
All full-time and voluntary volunteers from initiatives and associations from Freiburg and the surrounding area that are committed to the common good - regardless of the area of commitment.

4netzen is a regular exchange meeting for volunteers in Freiburg. It (almost) always takes place on the 4th of every month. All people who are committed to reconciling environmental, social and economic goals - globally and for future generations - are cordially invited to attend. The aim is to create synergies, facilitate cooperation and avoid competition.
