Bernd Lafrenz has been playing Hamlet on his own for years - in his own, incredibly lively and creative way, so that the audience is ultimately encouraged to join in and lose their shyness - and even their blinkers. The classic original is parodistically distorted into a grotesquely comic thriller. The content of Shakespeare's HAMLET remains the same, and a remnant of Shakespearean language is always retained, sometimes as a deliberate counterpoint to the clowning.
