Deliciously Gone - Solo Dance Theater - Cia. Nadine Gerspacher
In her new piece Deliciously Gone, Freiburg choreographer Nadine Gerspacher tells the story of Madame Serger-Chapelene together with French dancer Camille Lejeune. Madame, who lives alone in her apartment, is a seductive, narcissistic personality who is constantly re-staging herself in her self-created universe. Her dialog with the objects surrounding her, which seem like witnesses to her life, blurs the boundaries between reality and illusion. A maelstrom is created that draws the audience into the protagonist's inner world.
The solo performance (Camille Lejeune) explores the essential human need for meaning, closeness and self-presentation, inspired by anthropological ideas of animism and the role theory of the individual.
A delicate, ironic and at the same time touching piece of dance theater about the art of dreaming oneself alive.
