Opening of the Morat Halls: Municipal Gallery and North Hall

On February 6 at 7 pm, the Morat-Hallen at Lörracher Straße 31 will open with two exhibitions of contemporary art. With the acquisition of the traditional premises by the City of Freiburg, the Cultural Office has not only gained a new home for the Municipal Gallery, but also an additional space for contemporary art in the form of the North Hall.

Lord Mayor Martin Horn and First Mayor Ulrich von Kirchbach will speak at the opening ceremony. Alice Wilke, assistant curator at the Kunstmuseum Basel, will then give an introduction to the Städtische Galerie exhibition. Curator Sharleena Rosing will introduce the exhibition in the North Hall.
