Matinee: The cradle of Ice Age art?
Colombischlössle – Archäologisches Museum (archaeological museum "Colombischlössle")
The archaeological museum "Colombischlössle" invites you to a matinee in the exhibition "Urformen. Ice Age Art of Europe". With expert Joanna Reichert, participants will immerse themselves in a time around 40,000 years ago when Ice Age people set up camp in the Swabian Alb and found shelter in caves. There they left behind perhaps the most famous and oldest works of art known to mankind. These are still fascinating today, but their significance remains a mystery. Wim Mauthe will accompany the evening musically with free jazz improvisations. Participation costs 7 euros, concessions 5 euros. Tickets are available in the online store.
