Tech bros, power and Christianity. New alliances in the USA

Under the title "Tech-Bros, Power and Christianity. New Alliances in the USA", an event organized by the University Freiburg Religionsgespräche in cooperation with the Catholic Academy in Freiburg will take place on 9 December at 7 p.m. in Max-Kade-Auditorium 2 of the Old University, Bertholdstr. 17.

Speakers Wolfgang Palaver (Christian Social Theory, Innsbruck) and Karsten Fischer (Political Science, Munich), together with the Freiburg fundamental theologian Magnus Striet, will examine the current interdependencies between technological elites, political power and religious interpretations: Why is tech entrepreneur Peter Thiel talking about the "anti-Christ"?
